Handyman Services - we're happy to help you do the projects you don't have time for or aren't able to accomplish on your own. Our Handyman Services are a popular choice! If you're not sure what you have, contact us.
We typically do not charge for estimates unless they are outside our service area -- then you're basically paying a "trip charge." But we will let you know in advance, just ask. If you received a postcard from us, you are inside our service area. Normal "handyman" charges are $75.00 per hour, plus materials. We provide a written estimate after personally visiting the project and having the goals explained to us. The estimate is provided by email for you to review in the privacy of your own home prior to choosing your professional. Our work is warrantied for one year. Maintenance Packages - designed for vacation homes, homes that are not occupied regularly and rental properties. Offering maintenance packages is new to us so, let's talk about your thoughts! We've replaced kitchen sinks and disposals; installed stair railings, repaired kitchen cabinet hinges, replaced closet doors, installed curtain rods and vertical blinds. We've installed specialty items to help around the bathroom, shower, and tub. We have even recently rebuilt 30-year-old pressure assist toilets in Lauderdale Lakes, Wisconsin. Just last week (March 21, 2024) we were asked to return to a previous homeowner to make improvements to help their appraisal, and it worked! Our labor rates are specific to the tasks, meaning: each trade has its standardized recognized labor rate. A painter rate will be different than a carpenter rate, rates are primarily based on the cost of liability insurance and personal injury risk, plus the experience and skill or the person. We will provide rates and estimates upon request. A shopping rate would be $75.00 per hour, that's not what the employee is paid, but the labor burden per hour averaged.
